Osman joined Pelican Energy Partners in 2025 as a Senior Associate. His responsibilities include analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities, financial modeling, due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio company monitoring.
Prior to joining Pelican, Osman was an Investment Banking Associate at FMI Capital Advisors working on sell-side transactions in the Energy and Industrial Services Group. Prior to FMI and attending business school, Osman held various roles in the controls and automation industry, including engineering, project management, business development and operations management. He worked with leading firms such as Honeywell, Maverick Technologies (now part of Rockwell Automation) and Hargrove Controls & Automation, primarily serving clients in the refining and petrochemical sectors.
Osman earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a concentration in Finance and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
Osman enjoys spending his free time with his wife, traveling, attending sporting events and trying new restaurants.
