John joined Pelican Energy Partners as an Industry Advisor in 2025.
Prior to joining PEP, John served as the Chief Financial Officer of Cooper Machinery Services, a Houston-based provider of natural gas compression equipment and services. Before joining CMS, he was a Managing Director at Pelican Energy Partners from 2013 - 2022. He also served in investment banking roles as a Senior Vice President at GulfStar Group and Morgan Keegan.
John earned an MBA from Texas A&M University and a BBA in Finance from Northeastern University. He serves on the board of the Houston Chapter of the Young Professionals in Energy.
